TradesHamiltonSample rebuild

Was: “Family owned since 1998”

Someone answers in 30 minutes.

A 2011 site built in tables, with the phone number buried in a sidebar under a visitor counter. Most of its visitors had a leak and needed someone fast, so the rebuild opens with the response time and keeps a call button at the top of every page.

This is a concept rebuild of a typical trades website, made to show our approach. Rivertown Plumbing & Heating is not a real client.

What changed

01

One promise in the headline

“Welcome to our website” became the thing a homeowner with a leak actually needs to know.

02

Phone number on every screen

Pinned to the top bar on mobile, where most emergency searches happen.

03

Booking replaces “Click here for a quote”

A short form that asks for the problem and a postcode, not an essay.
